Nothing Shines Brighter than a Girl with Dream and Ambition
My Story
Hello! Welcome to my page. My name is Gia Han N Phan, and I am currently a junior in high school. I aspire to be a lawyer and to be the change I want to see! I moved to the United States in 2020 with little to zeros experience of communicating in English. I was fortunate enough to take English course in school, which helped me to learn faster. I had no idea of what I wanted to do until my freshman year in high school. Thanks to social media, I was able to learn about the issues in our world today that are still waiting for action. And that is how I become fascinated with the field I want to go into!

Get to know me through images! I long for the political fields, but I also love the peaceful vibe these images give. Dream life I suppose?
My Achievements
Can't forget to mention my acceptance to the Pineapple Empower Program! I'm super grateful for this opportunity.
This year, I was also accepted to the Civics Innovator Fellowship and have done two projects: media literacy individually and AI protocol in schools with an amazing team!
At school, I have officially started my IB curriculum. I'm very excited for what's ahead!
I have also been elected as the secretary for Mu Alpha Theta and Treasurer for French Club. I also lead Crochet Club as the president and honestly the craft is super fun. I am also a member of French Honor Society, National Honor Society, and Brain Brawl.
Volunteering is also an important part of my high school life so I want to share it! I have started volunteering as graphic designer for 3 youth organizations, and achieved leadership positions in two. In these experiences, I do a wide variety of tasks such as organizing the publishing of monthly magazine and newsletter, plan monthly town halls, and phonebanks!
Awards!
Last year, I received the President's Volunteer Service Award gold category for teen (100+ hours). This year, I am eligible for the gold category for young adults (250+ hours).
At school, I received primarily A honor roll. I was also awarded Freshmen's Excellentia Award, which is one of the four pillar characteristics of our school.
